There is a pattern emerging. Every 6 pages in my graphic story 'Life' I brake off and do some painting. I can't paint and draw at the same time... I can't even paint on more than one painting at the same time.. I have to concentrate on one image at a time.

So at the moment I'm working on another large painting of a pebble. This one I picked up off the beach of Whitby, North Yorkshire.
Same canvas dimensions as the last one: 144 x 96 cm.

I have this idea that I could ask people to give me little stones to paint... or to at least look at.
I have already received a few from people who know about my project. Think that is very exciting.
I'm also thinking about contacting the University... the Geology department of cause.

'Little Arthur'
Oil on canvas
47 x 52 cm

Little Arthur was to be a king… he was to draw a sword from a stone.
He was lonely.
In shadows lurk his enemies and his helpers. He is watched closely even when he is not aware of it… one day he will be loved, but he does not now this.
His innocence is his biggest asset.
Little Arthur was born of the rock.
